Overview

The Leadership in Environmental Sustainability Certificate allows students to earn formal recognition for their knowledge, skills, awareness, and attitudes that contribute to competency in environmental sustainability – from projects, to artwork, architectural design, and relevant course assignments. The Certificate is acknowledged at your graduation ceremony and on your TRU academic transcript.

Why earn this certificate?

Students’ university experience should include more than just classes and assignments and this certificate recognizes and fosters activities both inside and outside the classroom. Certificate participants have many opportunities to take part in meaningful experiences on campus, in the community, and abroad that contribute to sustainability. It goes beyond your degree, diploma, or certificate: We want students to launch their career with a resume full of the relevant learning experiences that employers value today. The ENSU 1000 course gives students exactly that – documented evidence of possessing knowledge, skills, and attitudes of a sustainably-minded leader.
